Ruthie Sommers is a fabulous designer that I met a few years ago on a business trip to Los Angeles with Charlotte Moss. She was attending a beautiful party hosted by another great LA designer, Suzanne Rheinstein. I admire Ruthie for her bold gestures in design, along with her sense of "I'm just another decorator" quirky personality. She really is quite amazing and should definitely give herself much more credit after her most recent publication in
Town & Country magazine in which she designs a magnificent home in Chicago.
