South African Ambiance

"Witnessing the start of the day in the African bush is like being invited to partake in a daily miracle. A dawn chorus of birdsong and the haunting calls of fish eagles, the air rich with the night flowers' perfume and delightfully cool." - Londolozi

South Africa has many beautiful lodges and hotels that know how to decorate with that special safari touch.  One such resort is Londolozi in the Sabi Sands Reserve.  I recently returned from this magnificent resort with great admiration for the staff and crew who go to great lengths to protect and teach their guests safety in the wild.  A view of the impressive decor below...

The Movie Room - John Varty one of the owners of Londolozi is a self proclaimed film maker who has filmed several movies on the reserve in the wild.  One of the more popular is the movie Running Wild with Brooke Shields.

These rattan chairs were extremely comfortable with their own little basket to hold your magazines or reading glasses.

Love the simplicity and comfort in slipcovered ottomans and furnishings.
